Since Helen’s diagnosis with CLN2 Batten disease on March 10, 2025, we have dedicated countless hours to research and conversations with leading scientists, doctors, and universities around the world. A clear theme has emerged: while promising advancements are underway, curing CLN2 Batten disease will require unwavering advocacy, strategic collaboration, and significant funding.

 

Helen’s Pink Sky Foundation is committed to doing whatever it takes to help our sweet Helen—and all those affected by this devastating disease. We are determined to move mountains to accelerate progress toward a cure.

 

Research and clinical trials are costly and complex. They demand the expertise of a passionate, highly skilled scientific team and an infrastructure capable of driving real breakthroughs—all while time is not on our side.

 

Our goal is ambitious but necessary: to raise $10 million over the next four years. These funds will support a world-class research team dedicated to accelerating the path to better treatments and, ultimately, a cure for Helen and others like her.
